Apple has introduced a revamped web-based version of its App Store, creating a centralized hub for browsing apps across its ecosystem. Users visiting apps.apple.com will now see a redesigned interface instead of the previous information-only pages.
The new website lets users explore apps for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Vision Pro. It includes the Today tab’s curated recommendations and supports browsing by categories, such as productivity, entertainment and adventure.
While the update marks a significant visual and functional upgrade, users still cannot install apps directly from the web. Instead, the platform offers sharing options and links that open apps inside the App Store on supported devices.
Apple previously offered individual app webpages, but they were not easily searchable without direct links. The new format aims to streamline discovery and navigation, making it easier for users to browse the App Store from a browser.
