Commvault Wins Top Global Storage Award at 2025 AWS Partner Gala

Commvault, a global leader in unified data security and enterprise resilience, has been named the 2025 AWS Global Storage Partner of the Year at the annual Geography and Global AWS Partner Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The award recognizes companies worldwide that help customers innovate and build solutions on Amazon Web Services. This year’s awards highlighted partners whose business models demonstrated exceptional specialization, innovation and customer impact.

Commvault received the Global Storage Partner of the Year award for its leadership in cloud-native data protection, enterprise storage operations and large-scale customer success. The award recognizes top AWS Storage Competency partners that deliver industry-leading solutions across backup and restore operations, file and block storage, object storage, active and passive archiving and business continuity/disaster recovery (BCDR).

Available through AWS Marketplace, Commvault provides unified resilience capabilities that help enterprises migrate, protect and rapidly recover critical AI data and workloads. Its integration with AWS object, file and block storage services enables organizations to reduce risk, streamline operations and maintain continuous preparedness.

“Being named AWS Global Storage Partner of the Year is an incredible honor and a validation that Commvault and AWS together are delivering the unified resilience enterprises need for the AI era,” said Michelle Graff, senior vice president of global partners and channel sales at Commvault. “AWS makes AI possible. Commvault makes it resilient. By unifying data security, identity resilience and cyber recovery across AWS and hybrid environments, we’re giving customers the simplicity and confidence to innovate at massive scale.”

Matt Williams, director of compute operations at News Corp, said Commvault’s joint solutions with AWS transformed their data protection strategy. “Together, they’ve helped us recover faster, simplify operations and strengthen confidence in our cloud strategy,” Williams said.

This year’s AWS Partner Awards included a self-nomination process across multiple categories, evaluated at both geographic and global levels. Submissions were reviewed by technology research firm Canalys, with customer success serving as a major factor. Additional data-driven categories were determined through audited performance metrics, with finalists representing the top three AWS partners in each segment.

The AWS Partner Network (APN) continues to support partners in accelerating cloud adoption and maximizing the breadth of AWS services.
