Pakistan’s largest information technology and telecommunications exhibition, the 27th ITCN Asia, is set to open Jan. 17 at the Expo Centre Lahore, bringing together thousands of industry professionals, government officials, startups and international investors amid growing efforts to position the country as a regional digital hub.
This year’s edition of ITCN Asia is presented with Tech Destination Pakistan as the Title Partner, powered by Special Investment Facilitation Council – SIFC and Rising Pakistan, with strategic support from the Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) — reflecting broader public-private collaboration to strengthen Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
The three-day event is expected to gather more than 70,000 trade visitors, including over 18,500 C-level executives and 850 government leaders. Organizers anticipate participation from more than 350 international delegates and investors from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Indonesia and Turkey.
The exhibition will feature over 850 booths showcasing products and solutions from more than 3,000 global brands. Key sectors on display include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data centers, fintech, e-commerce, ERP systems, education technology, health tech, banking and government digital services.
High-level programming includes the Global CISO Summit with the Future Leaders Award, workshops on AI applications in project management and generative AI for business, roundtables on cyber threat intelligence, women empowerment, skills development, IT exports and fintech innovation. Additional sessions will cover digital assets, stablecoins, scrum methodologies and startup ecosystems.
The event builds on ITCN Asia’s long history, which began in 2001 as Pakistan’s premier IT and telecom platform. Recent editions have emphasized emerging technologies like AI and sustainable solutions, with past events attracting tens of thousands and strengthening ties with government bodies such as the Ministry of Information Technology.
Industry stakeholders view the Lahore edition as a milestone for Pakistan’s tech sector, which has seen advancements in AI cloud infrastructure and digital economy initiatives. Organizers highlight opportunities for business matchmaking, lead generation and investment partnerships, with subsidies available from the Pakistan Software Export Board for eligible IT and ITeS companies.
Visitor registration remains open on the official website. A second leg of ITCN Asia 2026 is scheduled for Karachi later in the year.
The event underscores Pakistan’s push to expand its IT exports and foster innovation, drawing local and global attention to the country’s evolving digital landscape.
