The West Tech Fest, Australia’s longest-running technology and innovation festival, is underway, with its flagship West Tech Main conference emerging as a standout event with high energy and engagement at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The full-day program drew bold thinkers, industry leaders, and innovators who are shaping the nation’s tech landscape through keynote discussions, panel sessions, and the West Tech Pitch event, where founders presented their ideas to investors.
West Tech Main generated high energy and strong engagement as attendees explored new technologies, investment opportunities, and the future of the Australian startup ecosystem.
The week-long festival connects Western Australia’s startup community with global leaders through a core lineup of major conferences and a wide array of satellite events focused on founder journeys, investor perspectives, scaling strategies, and the region’s economic outlook.
The City of Perth Innovation Showcase added to the momentum, featuring more than 65 exhibits from Western Australian startups and innovators, along with a dedicated Young Entrepreneurs Showcase.
Founders, investors, operators, and international ecosystem builders gathered across the festival’s events to foster collaboration and strengthen Western Australia’s growing innovation sector.
Additional core programs include West Tech Women, which promotes diversity and female leadership in technology; the First Nations House Summit, highlighting Indigenous innovation and excellence; the Corporate Innovation Summit, focused on corporate venturing and industry growth; the Freo Startup Fest, featuring founder panels and pitch sessions; and West Tech Wadjemup on Rottnest Island, centered on sustainability, climate solutions, and circular economy initiatives.
