Joby Aviation has successfully completed its first electric air taxi test flight in Dubai — marking a major step toward launching commercial aerial rides by 2026.
The all-electric aircraft will cut travel time from Dubai Airport to Palm Jumeirah to just 12 minutes (compared to 45 mins by car).
Fully eco-friendly and quiet, these air taxis will take off from 4 key vertiports: DXB Airport, Downtown, Marina, and Palm Jumeirah.
While early pricing may be premium, Joby plans to make flying taxis accessible for everyone in the future. The skies of Dubai are about to change — and so is your commute.
