Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. took center stage at the CES 2026 in Las Vegas to showcase its evolution from a century-old tire maker into a cutting-edge mobility and technology innovator, unveiling AI-powered tire intelligence systems, strategic partnerships, and smart EV products that position the 125-year-old company at the forefront of the connected-vehicle ecosystem.
Long known as a legacy tire brand, Goodyear demonstrated that the wheel itself is now becoming a connected component within modern cars, joining the sensors and computing systems that make today’s vehicles feel like “living rooms and offices on wheels.”
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is regarded as the most powerful tech event in the world, with leading global innovators coming together to showcase the latest breakthrough technologies.
At CES, the company showcased its Goodyear Tire Intelligence platform, which integrates proprietary sensors and software to analyze tire wear, road conditions, hydroplaning risk and vehicle handling. The technology enables safer, more responsive driving while giving electric vehicles quieter and more efficient performance.

Goodyear also highlighted its ElectricDrive 2 all-season tire for EVs, addressing consumer concerns around durability, sustainability, noise reduction and grip on slick surfaces. The tires use sustainable materials, including soybean oil, and foam inserts to dampen cabin noise — a feature EV owners often request.
Goodyear team also joined industry sessions on electric vehicles, autonomous systems and venture capital, while the iconic Goodyear Blimp flew over the show to demonstrate AI-assisted aerial navigation and autonomous operations.
