One of Latin America’s largest project management events, the PMI São Paulo Summit 2025, concluded successfully in São Paulo, Brazil, after two days focused on the future of project management, leadership, innovation and real organizational impact.
The summit brought together professionals from across the region, offering a platform to connect with industry leaders, participate in immersive learning experiences, and explore the trends expected to shape the next decade of the profession. From high-value networking to content-rich sessions and main-stage keynotes, the event delivered what organizers called M.O.R.E.—momentum, opportunities, relevance and excellence—marking another milestone for the project management community in Brazil and beyond.

Speakers took the stage to address the evolving demands of modern project leadership. Anderson Milochi and Bruna Bispo discussed how intelligence and strategy drive truly winning projects. Andre Choma explored the thin line between excellence and chaos in capital projects. Cesar Gomes Gonçalves demonstrated the practical, everyday applications of AI, while Felipe Moraes Borges brought sustainability, technology, and impact into the same forward-looking conversation. Many other experts also addressed emerging innovations shaping the future of PMI.
A standout moment of the Summit was a high-impact panel discussion moderated by Raulison Resende, Ph.D., of Wongola, who guided an engaging and insightful conversation on inclusion, innovation, and ESG-driven transformation. The panel brought together leaders from multiple sectors, including Simone Pita of Ânima Educação, Rogério Catarino of ClearSale, and Celso Kleber de Souza of Grupo Mooven, each offering perspectives on how their industries can contribute to a more equitable, diverse, and innovative future.

Among the panelists was Amanda Gelumbauskas, Latam Head of Oracle Next Education (ONE) at Oracle, who represented both Oracle and the ONE initiative. She emphasized the strategic role of Black in Tech (BiT) in advancing ESG goals and strengthening workforce equity across the region.
Gelumbauskas said it was inspiring to highlight how ONE and BiT are expanding access to technology careers and supporting long-term professional development. “For us, inclusion is not narrative: it is practice, consistency and the transformation of lives,” she said. She added that purpose-driven projects are the ones that truly scale impact—pointing to initiatives like ONE + BiT + Ânima Group’s Accelerator as proof of what becomes possible when technology, education, and diversity work together toward national transformation.

Organizers said the success of the summit demonstrated why the PMI São Paulo Summit has become one of the most influential project management gatherings in Latin America, setting a strong foundation for future editions.
